Description of the export procedure

1. Contract
   Usually we send you the draft of the contract. When we agree on the contract and set the
   details, we sign it, scan it and e-mail it to you. Besides that we send to you 2 printed
   exemplars. You sign them and send one back to us.
2. Payment
   Usually clients do online deposit to our bank account. You don’t need to pay any extra taxes
   since we’re registered as a farm. Your payment is the condition for the change of the
   ownership.
3. Change of ownership
   We make a copy of the contract and send it together with ID document to the horse
   registration office in Lipica Studfarm. They enter your name as an owner of the horse in the ID document. The
   location of the horse stays the same (our farm) until the export. This procedure lasts usually
   1-2 weeks.
4. IAK, TRACES check
   We can organize all the export procedure for you – IAK test, vet check for the export (TRACES).
5. The rest of export documentation
   We’ll take care of all the documents (pedigree and the rest of documentation for the export).
   We can’t provide you import documents for your country.
6. Transport
   Usually the clients or animal transport company come to pick up the horse and we hand over the documents, we help with the loading as well.**

*We cover all the costs for mentioned activities from 1 to 5. For extra services upon your
request (like transport, pre purchase veterinary examination, X-rays etc.) you’ll have to cover the additional costs.
**If the animal stays at our farm for more than a month since signing the contract and we do not arrange otherwise in the contract, we’ll charge you for boarding.
